Under the hood

One operator out front.
A multi-agent system behind it.

When we say a CottLabs site "runs the business behind it," this is the engine we mean. We built CIPHER to run our own operation first — a fleet of specialized agents on one shared brain, wrapped in the kind of engineering discipline you'd expect from software, not marketing.

Shown honestly

Built for ourselves first. Some of this runs our own operation every day; some is built and hardened in-house but hasn't yet run a live client account — and we'll always tell you which is which. No fabricated dashboards, no invented numbers, nothing sent on your behalf without your say-so.

The system

Not a stack of tools. One operator that learns your business.

Most "AI for small business" is a pile of point tools you're left to wire together. CIPHER is the opposite: specialized agents coordinated so the owner sees a single operator — and one brain underneath that gets sharper every week.

A fleet of agents

Many specialists, one operator

Separate agents handle capture, outreach, follow-up, the CRM and getting paid — coordinated behind a single surface. The owner doesn't manage a toolset; they work with one operator that already knows the job.

The shared brain

A memory that compounds — and is walled to you

Every call, quote and job teaches it your pricing, your voice, your customers. That memory is walled per business, so it compounds for you and only you. A competitor can copy a feature; they can't copy the brain.

The vault

Your data, kept private

A local-first, layered security vault holds the sensitive material. Your business's data is yours — not pooled, not sold, not training a model for someone else.

Anti-drift engineering

It stays on the rails

A growing regression corpus, human-approval gates, and shadow-first behavior mean the system does what it's supposed to — and nothing sends, charges or posts without a person's OK.

The moat is the brain, not the buttons. Features get copied in a weekend. A brain that has learned one business for a year does not.
Real, not rendered

The actual product — and honest numbers about the engineering

These are real screens from the operator console. The figures below are about the engineering, not customer counts — we're pre-launch, and we won't pretend otherwise.

How we build

Engineered like software, not like a marketing gimmick

The reason we can hand a small business an AI operator and sleep at night is the discipline underneath it.

A test for every promise

Hundreds of regression checks run before any change ships. If a safety rule or a behavior would break, the change doesn't go out.

Every mistake becomes a scar

When something goes wrong once, it's written into permanent memory as a "scar" — a rule the system carries forward so the same mistake can't happen twice.

A human holds the risky levers

Drafts, not sends. Anything that moves money, quotes a price or makes a commitment is prepared for you and waits for your approval.

An honest score, not a vanity metric

Our own dashboard measures real business motion and refuses to inflate it. If a part of the business is dormant, it says so.

Where this goes next

This is the engine behind your CottLabs build.

You get the website first — free to see before you pay a dollar. Then, piece by piece, this becomes the operator behind it: the follow-ups, the outreach, the getting-paid, run the way you'd run them.
